I got a peak at comet PANSTARRS this evening. I set up my 28-105 mm zoom lens on an equatorial mount. This is a 8-second exposure at 105mm zoom, ISO 100, F4.5.
Comet PANSTARRS at 7:45 on March 12,
as viewed from the Santa Rosa Plateau.
The comet is very easy to see in binoculars. Tomorrow night, look right of the moon.
